Email/Text Messaging when there is a problem with the Matterport Cloud that could potentially be a problem for an MSP
Today 20181218 I found out that there was a problem with the Matterport hosted models. It seems that in recently uploaded and moderated uploads all the disabled scan points within the models have been re-enabled. I found out about the problem through a Facebook post that was posted by another MSP. This is uncalled for. Matterport should take a proactive approach to informing their clients about potential and current problems that updates and changes to the system can and do cause.
I suggest that Matterport invest in a text messaging and email registration system that will allow us the MSPs to sign up, so that we can get notifications when there is a global cloud problem, so that we will be prepared and not look like a novice(I wanted to say something else here) when speaking to our clients about the problem.
