How to edit social media scrape information

When posting 3D model URLs on social media we obviously get the pre-encoded scrape information. e.g.:

Title: "Explore #name of the model# in 3D"
Description: "Matterport 3D showcase"
URL: "My.matterport.com"

How can we edit this information??

I make a separate page on my website for every tour with WP3D. This allows me to change the image, buy a vanity domain and post to social media.

I then go to this website and scrape it until the image I am looking for comes up.

    I hope this helps!

  • It is a plugin for word press sites that allow you to fill information in and it produces a page on your WordPress.Org site.

    Here is one of mine:

  • @justinv
Yeah we just installed the plugin and it seems to really good - thanks!!

I can see that the initial mouse/arrows guide seem to pop-up at the load of your example - I like that as we often see user not understanding what to do. Where is this feature activated?

    THANKS!!

  • I am not at my computer right now. I think you can do it from workshop or from wp3d. There is a code you cam put at the end of your matterport generated link to, I believe. On that plugin, it is either second to last or last tab and click help box. If you cannot find it, let me know and I will look when I get back home.
