Develop Your Matterport Business in New Industries - Travel and Hospitality

The Matterport Service Partner Team has heard from our network of MSPs that you’d love some tips on how to sell Matterport into new verticals outside of residential and commercial real estate. We’ve put together some messaging to help you expand your Matterport business to new industries, with the first being Travel & Hospitality.

Travel & Hospitality encompasses hotels, vacation rentals, and destination venues. Matterport allows consumers in this vertical to virtually tour and experience a property prior to booking their stay. Adding a Matterport 3D Showcase sets appropriate expectations for consumers, allows Travel & Hospitality companies to highlight key features and selling points of the rooms or property, and gives guests an accurate sense of your accommodations and amenities. Here are some key points to message when selling into this vertical:

  • Faster bookings. Matterport’s immersive 3D Showcase helps drive more reservations and allows your guests book with confidence. Guests will know what to expect from virtually experiencing the space prior to their stay.
  • Delight your customers. Help your customers relax and unwind during their stay by making sure there are no surprises with their room or property. Happy guests who have their expectations met and exceeded will translate into repeat business!
  • Highlight key selling points. Point prospective guests to a property’s gorgeous views, modern amenities, and impeccable details using Mattertags Posts and/or a Guided Tour experience. These features will wow your potential guests and allow you to rent your space and a higher price point.
