End of year highlights for MSPs

The holiday season is fast approaching, and we wanted to send good tidings your way with program updates! Recently, we have been working on initiatives that should help you grow your business:

Leads, Leads, Leads

We are heavily focused on driving demand of Matterport to generate more scan leads for you. Leads for our MSPs have been steadily increasing month-over-month since June. And even despite it being a holiday month, December’s numbers are poised to double June’s!

Here are some ways we have driven this growth:

  • Informational webinars: Beginning in October 2016, we hosted monthly lead-gen webinars to drive awareness and demand for Matterport. These webinars attracted close to 2,000 registrants, mostly agents and real estate professionals, and focused on how a Matterport scan can help their business. To sweeten the deal, we offered a $50 gift card for attendees who purchase a scan service from our MSPs. Check out our latest webinar from December here.
  • Geo-based pages: We added 17 regional specific webpages on matterport.com to drive additional scan service leads to MSPs in highly populated areas. We are currently expanding this program to other domestic and international territories.
  • Partnerships: We are continuing to build partnerships with large, nationwide brokerages and organizations -- including REMAX, Sotheby's, and LeadingRE -- to promote Matterport scan services and our MSP network to their agents.
  • Events/Tradeshows: In just the past two months, we have attended and exhibited at 13 different shows. These events allowed us to interface with thousands of interested individuals and businesses, resulting in more scan leads, press articles, and overall great buzz.
  • Upcoming - Servicing new verticals: We are creating new scanning programs with regional and nationwide companies in both the travel & hospitality and multi-family industries. We will be turning to our Matterport Service Partners to help accomplish scanning all of their properties and will keep you posted on opportunities as we solidify these programs.

We are excited to announce additional sales, marketing, and enablement materials to help you win more business! The messaging in these materials is based on several research studies that we conducted in 2016 to better understand our scan lead customers. We will continue to roll out additional materials over the next few months. These new materials have been uploaded to our member portal and contain a description on how to use them. All assets were designed to be co-brandable as well!

  • Permanent price drop for Schematic Floor Plans: Add black-and-white floor plans to your core offering to give your business a competitive advantage or to generate more revenue per job.
  • Links in Mattertag™ Posts: Give your customers more informative Spaces to better engage their viewers by including live URLs in Mattertag Posts. Send visitors to a retail store to buy a featured appliance, to an artist's website to check out a painting, or even to another related Matterport Space to increase engagement with their gallery of Spaces!
  • CoreVR - now FREE through June 30, 2017: We have seen such amazing adoption and growth of Matterport Virtual Reality (and we want our iOS users to have the same experience), that we are extending free CoreVR through June 30, 2017!
