Does anyone know how the Matterport feed will automatically match the tours with the Realtor.com listings?

In an Inman article, it states that Move has signed up for a content feed from Matterport to Realtor.com. It also states that tours may appear, even when the link is not included in the MLS Virtual Tour field because Matterport will automatically match the 3D tour with the listing in Realtor.com. Is there are particular way the tour needs to be saved to make this match happen? Maybe the MLS number or the full address of the home?

  • Afraid I don't know the answer to your question. From the recent newsletter it appears that the address of the space will be used to match properties and spaces. Don't know if we will have to do more than that.

If it is just address matching I would want to know what happens if our client loses the listing to another agency will the space show up on the new agency's listing. That wouldn't make clients happy that paid us for the space.

  • All Realtors can sign into Realtor.com and add their Matterport video.  Once you do this, you will see the 3D icon next to the pictures.  Works very nice.  Click here for the Realtor.com login
