Integrating The Matterport Presentation Into Your Client's Website

Hello all,

Wanted to ask a quick question. When your working with a client who has an internet site, I would assume that all you'd have to do is send the client the link/html to the matter port presentation, and it would be their job to integrate it into their website. Or is it your job to go into their site editor, create a page, and integrate the matter port HTML in yourself? I'm sure this changes from client to client.

Thanks everyone!

    Hi Andrew,

Typically, our MSPs are not responsible for embedding the link to the client's website (unless the MSP is creating a single-property landing page for the client as a part of their services package). While there can be exceptions and services will vary based on client needs and MSP services, for the most part our MSPs simply provide their clients with a link after they have completed the scanning process, and the client then uses it as they see fit. Hope this helps!

  • Hey Kelly,

thank you so much for the response. To confirm, when you said "The MSP is creating a single-property landing page for the client as a part of their services package," you meant that the MSP creates a single page website that shows the Matterport Tour of the property, and then they send that page off to their client correct? Thank you.

Most people use WP3D models to make a single property website.

Here is one of mine you can see for an example.

  • Andrew: that is correct! Justin's example below is exactly what I was referencing.

Justin: thank you very much for sharing!

  • Hi Andrew Winchester Greer - All my clients post their own links, and I don't create any websites.  If they did want me to take on the posting/embedding then I would have an additional charge,
