Hardware Error - Sensor Fault

Hey guys, I had this happen and started the RMA process with matterport, has anyone had their camera repaired, what can I anticipate in repair costs?

the camera was a refurbished model (replacing a defective camera) sent to me by Matteport in Feb 17, so it's out of warranty.

Process was started August 8th, 2017, and all I received was the RMA number but I haven't received any other notification by Matterport Support and it's Sept 5th.

  • Im interested to see how well Matterport  deal with your repair, will you loose work while you are without your camera?

  • I called to get an update on when they're sending the replacement, they'll update me later today. 

     

    We have 3 camera's so one down isn't a complete showstopper. 

     

    I'll keep it updated here, other's have experienced paying over $500 for repairs. We'll see.
