REALTOR PRSENTATIONS

Dear People,

I will be giving my first presentation to a broker and his realtors next week.  I desperately need help on what to present to them:  i.e. topics, handouts, etc

I've seen the script that Matterport supplies, but would like something a little more detailed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  • Have you done any scans? I would probably do a short video and do an email marketing campaign with it to get the appointment, then use the iPad presentation when you are face to face.

I wouldn't use a house that is over the top either. I would use a nice house that is a little above average. If you use a mansion, they are going to think this is going to be expensive or I never get that kind of listing.

I can link a YouTube video when I get home to show you what kind of video to use.

It is nothing fancy. I made this one to switch out for a still shot on my website. I still need to put music or something with it.

Now the 15 second teasers are very good. If nothing else, put a few together in Adobe or something. Add your logo and your ready to go!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

  •  My company works with about 60 realtors right now and I have done several presentations for realtors all over the country.  What they want is leads, leads, leads... Not only does the Matterport system help them sell the home, it will get them new seller leads.  The general public wants to save time, and the 3D Imaging is a 24/7 open house!!  Mom doesn't have to get the house in show quality every day, only when a serious buyer is ready to look.  Here is a video we put together for our realtor team we work with...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygsFRum81zk

Please let me know if you have more questions as I don't mind being a resource for you.

When you say leads, leads, leads, do you put your tours behind a squeeze page?

I was considering building a website and get a sign rider with the url. Have a static image of the house and a lead page. I was thinking of putting the tour, video, stills and whatever else behind that. I assume that they will give you their info if they are serious about the house.

I have a friend with a business that puts beacons on the sign. It works over the Bluetooth and gives them a digital flyer of property after they give their info. This is neat because it works from the street.

  • No I don't put them behind a squeeze page at all, but we do run specific ads to the neighborhood that a home is for sale in.  It gets the neighbors very interested and they see technology that they haven't seen before.  It gets the realtors seller leads.  The buyers will come, the sellers is a more competitive market. If you "hide" the information they will find it from another site.  With so much competition out there with RE sites, I wouldn't suggest hiding the info. The beacon is a great idea and there are also text programs that allow you to text the tour to the client while they are sitting outside the home.  Then you have their correct info to communicate with them.

Let me know if you have more questions. :)

Thank you very much! I have been slammed and just remembered I never said thank you!

My wife has a listing of a family member and I am going to experiment on it. It will sell fast, but your insight gave me some ideas.

I am not sure if it will be this weekend or next. I will post back and let you know what I did and how it worked!

    Thanks again!

  • Erica,

That is a great video that you did. Was that hard to do? I to have my first presentation for a group of real estate agents in the next few days.

    Thanks,

    Marc

  • Hi Tjspalm,

I to have my first presentation in the next few days. Could you tell me where you found the so called script for the real estate agents? I have clearly missed where Matterport has the real estate agent script.

    Thanks,

    Marc

Do you have any experience in editing?

I don't know how Erica created it and I am sure she will share it with you.

If you are not going to outsource, I would say take a look at videoblocks. It is a paid service but it has tons of overlays, b roll and title options if you aren't great in Adobe after effects.

To get the Matterport tour, I use a screen recorder and use the arrows to navigate the tour. Just make it I little longer and you can cut a few seconds off the front and end.

  • Hi Justin,

No, I do not have any experience in editing. I thought I would probably have to outsource the project. I will definitely check out videoblocks.

    Thanks.

  • Hi!  My husband/business partner is a video editor and drone pilot so he put the video together using Final Cut Pro.  However videoblocks is a great option, and you can usually outsource video editing to a person on Fiverr or Upwork.  Another editing tool that I personally use when he is really busy and can't complete a video for me is Filmora.

Guys, hitting up realtors is so crucial right now.  They are all so competitive that having something the "other" realtor can't do will help them win listings.  Also, the engagement on the 3D Imaging on social media is insane!!!  For one house we had over 2k people virtually "walk through" it in 24 hours. Tell any Realtor those kinds of numbers and they will be eating out of your hands.
