I have watched videos etc but still dont understand how to gor from room to room etc

eg I just scanned a hallway which has the stairs located in it, i then went onto a further three rooms (large house) I now need to get back to the stairs to start going upstairs but im the other end of the ground floor . Do i scan all the way back or do i go straight to the stairs?

  • @Robert-3 You scan 1 by 1 throughout the space. When your finished. Pick up the tripod & go back to the area you want to connect to then repeat scanning until you reach the nect space you want to connect or have to stop & move the tripod to connect to your other spaces.

  • It might be a little late but don't forget to change floors at the top of stairs!

  • Robert there are multiple ways you can connect floors and areas you want to scan again. My recommendation don't get caught up with overlap. Key here is to always opt for high density even if you have to go over space you have already scanned successfully. In situation you described you do not need to go back to the root scan point. Just look at your scan point where you want to connect the next floor and make sure you add next floor. I just did a 6 floor commercial space so if you need help feel free to contact me @ qadrir@gmail.com
