FAQ: Subscription Cancellation

These are the most common questions asked about cancelling your paid subscription:

When will the cancelation be effective?

Paid subscriptions will be cancelled at the end of the active billing cycle, regardless of when the cancellation request is made. If you cancel your monthly subscription on the first of the month, after the invoices for the new cycle have already went out, then your subscription will remain active until the end of the month and then terminate. The cancellation of a Free plan is effective immediately.

Can I get a refund on my cancelation? 

No refunds will be granted as part of a subscription cancellation. Therefore, all cancellations will occur at the end of the current billing cycle.

What happens when my subscription is canceled?

At the end of your subscription, all of your Matterport spaces will automatically be set to private, meaning that active links to your models will result in an error. Once canceled, you will also no longer will have access to your billing and subscription history.

How do I come back once I cancel my subscription? 

If at any time you'd like to reactivate your spaces, simply log into your Matterport cloud account at my.matterport.com using the same email address and subscribe to a new plan. You will not be able to reactivate a Free subscription that was cancelled, however you can create a new Free account with a different email address. Can I access my spaces or models after my subscription is canceled?

No. Once your subscription is canceled, you can no longer login to my.matterport.com to access your spaces. All of your Matterport spaces will become private, meaning that active links to your models will result in an error. Can I undo a cancellation?
