Change the Point of View

There are three ways to view a scene -- Dollhouse View, Inside View, and Plan View.

Dollhouse — An overall view of your scene

1 finger swipe Rotate the scene
2 finger swipe Move the entire scene side to side or up and down
Pinch open/closed Zoom in or out
Double tap Switch to Inside View

Inside — A view from within the scene

This view is best if you scanned an entire room. It is not useful if you just scanned an object or part of a room.
1 finger swipe Rotate the scene
2 finger swipe Move the entire scene side to side or up and down
Pinch  Zoom in or out
Double tap Move forward within the scene

Plan — View your scene from directly above

1 finger swipe Move the scene
2 finger spin Rotate the scene
Pinch  Zoom in or out
Double tap Switch to Inside View

Back Faces

All the points in your scene have a front face and a back face.

The front face is the side that faced you while scanning. Similarly, the back face is the other side that wasn't facing you.

For example, if you scanned a room you would be capturing both the walls and the ceiling. When viewing the model from outside, you will normally want to hide the back faces to only show the objects of interest inside (backfaces are hidden by default).

This feature is most useful if you've scanned an entire room, including all of the walls.

To unhide the backface, open the three dot menu and then selecting Hide Backfaces.
