Beginning on June 1st, 2018, customers who exceed the hosting limit as specified in their cloud plan will be billed for hosting overages.
If you are currently under your hosting limit (see plans on buy.matterport.com), you have nothing to worry about.
We are notifying you in advance of this change that will happen on June 1st, 2018. This is so accounts that are currently over their hosting limit (or nearing the limit) can plan and make changes accordingly on their end. This change will only affect future account overages starting from June 1st, 2018. Previous overages will not be charged.

You will see which plan you are currently in. Based on your current plan, the hosting limit is as follows:
- Basic — 100 Spaces
- Professional — 200 Spaces
- Business — 300 Spaces
If you are over the limit, the bar will appear in red.
You will also receive regular emails from Matterport Cloud (my.matterport.com) saying you are near or over the limit.
1) Pay the overage fee
You can accept the overage fee of USD $19 (EUR €18, GBP £16). This flat fee will let you host 50 additional Matterport Spaces on your account. This is a recurring fee that you will incur for every month that you are over the limit. This fee is $19 (€18, £16) for every month you are over, regardless of whether you are on a monthly or annual plan.
If you do nothing, you will be charged the overage fee.
2) You can also delete Matterport Spaces to return below the limit. We suggest you delete spaces that are reuploads or duplicates, have very few views, or are small test models (1 or 2 scan positions).
3) Upgrade to a higher hosting plan
A higher hosting plan may be more appropriate for you. First, open buy.matterport.com/user and login. Next, under Subscription Plan choose Change.
Choose a plan that is right for you and confirm. Your new hosting plan will take effect the next month, but you still will be responsible for overages from the current month.

Matterport billing always happens on the first United States billing day of the month. This is usually the first calendar day of the month at 00:00 UTC time, however it may be delayed because of holidays or weekends.
We charge you for hosting for this month, plus any a-la-carte fees for the previous month. Read more about how Matterport determines your bill. An overage hosting fee is an a-la-carte item determined by how many spaces are in our account on the last day of the previous month.
Consider an example: You are on the Basic plan. On February 15th you have 99 spaces. On February 16th you upload a new space, and then on February 17th another one to bring you up to 101 total spaces. You have no activity for the rest of the month. On March 1st, you will be charged an overage fee.
Consider another example: You are on the Basic plan. On February 14th you have 98 spaces. On February 21st you upload four new spaces to go to 102 total. On February 27th, you delete five spaces to go back to 97 spaces. On March 1st, you will not be charged a fee.
Consider another example: You are on the Basic plan. On February 18th you have 148 spaces. You decide to upgrade to Professional which can host up to 200 spaces. On March 1st, you will be charged an overage fee because you were on a plan which only hosted up to 100 spaces. If you stay below 200 spaces in March, then on April 1st, you will not be charged an overage fee.
